Genetic diversity among 14 Croatian winter wheat cultivars (7 from Zagreb and 7 from Osijek) was estimated by RAPD marker analysis and by 12 morphological traits. 14 polymorphic primers generated 366 scorable RAPD loci and they were used to calculate Euclidean distance. The results of 2D principal co-ordinate analysis showed that 14 cultivars were classified into two groups. First group included 6 cultivars from Zagreb while second group included 7 cultivars from Osijek and one from Zagreb. These results are in accordance with the known genetic relationships of the cultivars. The results of 2D principal co-ordinate analysis for 12 morphological traits also showed two divided groups with 7 cultivars from Zagreb in one and 7 from Osijek in the other group.
