The conference is hosted by Wageningen University and is accommodated by the conference centre ‘Hof van Wageningen’ (formerly WICC). The conference secretariat involved in registration is staffed by Liesbeth Bouwman (Liesbeth.Bouwman@wur.nl). Second announcement, provisional programme and registration form is available at http://www.eucarpia.org/ .
International
Symposium on Rye Breeding and Genetics The Symposium programme will cover rye breeding, genetic resources, molecular breeding, disease resistance, stress tolerance, nutritional and technological quality and genetics. The third circular and the program is now available at http://www.eucarpia.org/. Those interested in participating in the symposium are requested to return the response form to the symposium secretariat.
XIVth EUCARPIA

cooperative breeding across Europe.
This conference will be jointly organized by INRA (UMR Le Moulon, SAD-Paysage Rennes, Montpellier) and ITAB at a special site in Paris, Le Comptoir Général, which is based on ecological and social responsibility, and supports another view point on today’s world. “Resources in Maize and
Sorghum Breeding" Genetic resources, B73 and
Mo17 sequence data, Internet genomic databases, post genome and phenotypic
publicly accessible data. How maize and sorghum breeders can optimally
utilize them?
“Breeding strategies for sustainable forage and
turf grass improvement” The
potential impact of the new technologies became available for
application in breeding and developments in science on real world
forage and turf grass breeding raises the question: “What will the future
of forage and turf grass breeding look like?”
